More of Steven's 11th Birthday

Chris had to work super late tonight, and then shopped for Steven's present on the way home. So we essentially celebrated Steven's birthday almost 12 hours to the minute past his birth moment (10:32 am, June 26, 1997).

Steven's new bike! And Ryan inherits Steven's old bike, which he's excited about too! And then Andrew is the proud owner of Ryan's old bike - once we add training wheels and he learns how to use the pedals. (We're still working on that skill with him.)

Steven's First Golf Outing

Last Sunday afternoon, Chris, Uncle Derek, and Steven went golfing. This was a special day, because it was Steven's first time to go golfing. Chris took the boys to the driving range Saturday night to hit some golf balls. Steven is using a set of clubs that Uncle Tim gave him. They're a little big, but he just has to choke up a bit.

Steven Turns Eleven


The obligatory rocking chair picture - one year older! Happy eleventh birthday, Steven! We love you!


Steven's birthday present this morning was the tooth that he lost. It made today a much better day than yesterday. It was so loose and painful that he couldn't eat all day. He was SO hungry after I picked him up from basketball camp yesterday afternoon, that he came home and ate pudding, applesauce, and scrambled eggs.


This week, Steven has been attending basketball camp. This is his third year attending the camp, and I think he enjoys it a lot.
