Meridian Youth Basketball: Random Shots

Steven and Ryan just finished up playing in the Meridian Youth Basketball League on February 16th. I think they had fun, and it was a good opportunity for exercise, and to be with their friends.

What Andrew did during a couple of the games that he actually attended:
Chris and I split many of the games, because often they were hours apart.

This is Andrew with his buddy, Michael. I'm in the background
on the left, and Michael's mom, Sharon is in the background on
the right. It cracks me up that we're both sitting there in the same
position - hands crossed the same way and everything.


Michael and Andrew discovered that it was
great fun to crawl UNDER the bleachers!

February 3, 2008 Giants vs. Patriots

Our evening church service was canceled due to adverse weather conditions, so we ended up watching the Super Bowl much earlier in the evening than we had originally planned. We ate pizza and beer nuggets, and enjoyed the company of my parents to watch the game. Ryan was the only family member rooting for the Patriots; the rest of us were rooting for the underdog-Giants. It was a very exciting game - much better than last year's disappointing Bears' loss!
